 Throughout his four years, so far, with the urban Dayton Public Schools Board of Education, Adil Baguirov has helped to take the second-poorest school district in Ohio from a position where there were very close to having to deal with a state takeover to a position where the same district received an "A" on their last state report, thus averting the state takeover. They’ve done a lot of good so far and they hope to do a lot more. That is because Adil Baguirov is passionate about his community and he feels it is important to help it out as much as possible. During Adil Baguirov’s campaign for school board, he made three simple campaign promises. The first promise was to bring better technology to school system, including better computers for students, of course, but also special software to provide academic support for students and a mobile app to provide parents with more information and control over the school experience. In addition, he promised a better cultural and academic curriculum and a higher level of transparency and accountability than the boards that came before. when it came to school district finances. Besides his ownership of a premier logistics and transportation company in north Dayton and a prolific commercial real estate investor, Adil also has authored many academic books and articles.
